C4D Animation
Work in Progress: Animation Development
I’ve been deeply immersed in the animation phase of my project. Creating smooth and realistic movement for objects has been quite time-consuming. Unlike character animation, making physical objects move with realistic physics while maintaining an artistic touch presents its own set of challenges. My goal is to achieve a commercial-style animation that highlights a product with special close-ups, blending realism with visual appeal.
Following my 2D previs, I’ve been adjusting the movements in C4D. The transition from 2D to 3D has shown that 3D objects can often move too dramatically, so fine-tuning the motion to achieve the right balance is crucial. This involves ensuring the physics feels natural and the overall animation retains an artistic quality.
Through this process, I’ve learned a lot about the subtleties of object animation and how to convey the desired aesthetic while keeping the motion smooth and realistic. It’s a challenging yet rewarding experience as I work towards creating a polished and engaging final product.

One part I love the most is the cooking segment. It captures the essence of commercial work, presenting food in a realistic and appealing way. The close-up shots with a slow pace allow the audience to appreciate the style and aesthetic details fully. This careful attention to detail helps convey the desired look and feel, making the animation both engaging and visually pleasing.

For the final shot, I made a kitchen scene to create a strong ending for the animation. Inspired by kitchen setups, I added boards and drawers with cute geometric patterns to give it a creative studio feel. The ending has a spotlight on the main character, who is also the IP for this studio. I learned how to set and animate the spotlight from a YouTube tutorial, which added a professional touch to the final scene.
